Rathfriland Rangers made it a win and a draw for the season so far when they picked up a 1-1 draw at Barn United on Tuesday evening.

John Kernaghan’s men took the lead in the first half when Philip Main bulleted a header into the net from key man Johnny Kernaghan’s corner-kick.

It was a lead that the visitors deserved but they were pegged back in the second half as the home side battled back to claim a point.

Next up for Rathfriland is a trip to Oxford Sunnyside in the Bob Radcliffe Cup on Saturday.
