Souvenir snap of Andy’s special goal
Andy McGrory’s winning goal against Portadown snapped by photographer Brian Bain was presented to the player by Glenavon chairman Adrian Teer at the end of season dinner on Saturday night.
“It was a very special goal which meant a lot to the club and I felt it would be nice to get the picture which tells the story of the day and the season framed and presented to Andy as a momento,” said the chairman.
The stoppage time penalty sealed not only a win over the Ports but secured third place and 200,000 euros for getting into the Europa League.
