Watt handed two-year deal in testimonial year

Coleraine have confirmed John Watt has been agreed a new two-year contract with the Bannsiders.

And Watt, who is now in his 10th season at The Showgrounds, has been rewarded for his long service with a testimonial.

“Johnny has been a terrific servant to the club down the years, playing wherever he needed for the good of the team,” said boss Oran Kearney.

“So it’s fitting that we can reward him with a testimonial to mark his long service to the club.”

A number of events will be held throughout the forthcoming season with a testimonial game also in the pipeline. More details will be revealed over the next few weeks.
