They began to up the pressure in the first half, and were unlucky not to covert on several occasions. They finally found their form in front of goal, as the Player of the Match, converted.

The ball was passed out from the back the whole way up the pitch where Caroline McNicholl found the back of the net.

This boosted Coleraines confidence, and they continued the remainder of the half in similar style, with forwards Kitty and Laura unlucky not to add to the score before the break. They started the second half determined to add to their score, and it wasn’t long before they had doubled their advantage.

Sue Nutt received the ball on the edge of the circle, and danced her way into the net leaving the scoreline 2-0.

However, Civil Service soon stepped up and after several failed attempts at penalty corners, they managed to slip a goal.

The pressure was now on for Coleraine, who were determined to come away with a second win. With this in mind, the whole team stepped up. From a sideline ball, the ball was received by Kitty who skillfully slipped it to Helen, who took it round several players and flicked it over the keeper to score Coleraines third and final goal.
