Auditions for Youth Theatre at the Riverside

Auditions are conducted by all four tutors and each candidate scores points awarded by the tutors. Each candidate is seen, strictly in the order in which they arrive.

Age range is from 8 to 20 years

Each youngster who wants to audition is asked to prepare, from memory, the following: one verse of their favourite song, unaccompanied; a two-

minutes’ extract from a poem or a play – and finally, each candidate is also asked to bring with them a short piece of music on CD, to which they will be asked to dance/move.
