Ballycastle ‘X-factor’ night

A BALLYCASTLE ‘X Factor’ talent show will be held in the Glenshesk Bar in the town starting around 9pm this Friday night, March 11.

Entries can be taken on the night and it is aimed at raising money for commemorative trophies for the Ballycastle Pub Quiz League to mark the sad passing of two landladies - Tessie Bakewell of ‘Tessie’s’ and Joanne McIlroy of the Glenshesk.

Anyone wanting to take part in the X-Factor competition will have to pay £10 but there is £100 prize money up for grabs.

The Ballycastle Pub Quiz League has ten teams from six pubs and has been running for 25 years.

The organisers want to thank local businesses for contributing items towards a raffle to be held on the night.
