Christian music star coming to Magherafelt

Christian songwriter and worship leader Graham Kendrick, who has been described as the ‘father of modern worship music’ will perform in concert at Magherafelt High School as part of a three-day tour of the province.

The concert will begin at 7.30pm. 

For more than 30 years, Graham has been at the forefront of Christian music in the UK and has performed on the BBC’s Songs of Praise. He has written some of the world’s best-known worship songs including Shine Jesus Shine, Knowing You, The Servant King and Amazing Love.

The Magherafelt event has been organised by Maghera Parish Church - its Rector, Rev Isaac Hanna, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Graham Kendrick, who has written some of the most iconic worship songs, will be playing in our local area.
