Coronas anyone?

METEOR Award-winning Irish rock band The Coronas begin 2011 opening for The Script across, immediately followed by their first 17 date headline tour across America.

The band then returns to Northern Ireland in April for three nights only. Very special invited guests on the three Northern Ireland shows are the fantastic Colenso Parade and Microlip.

The Coronas are Meteor award winners (2010 Best Irish album), significant Irish participants of OXEGEN. They released the smart 2007 debut album, Heroes Or Ghosts and have slowly but surely been embraced by their ever growing contingent of fans as one of the best Irish bands to have emerged in the past five years.

Time moves on and the band, following a licensing deal in Japan with JVC, has trumped Heroes Or Ghosts with their new album, Tony Was an Ex-Con.

The Coronas play The Nerve Centre, Derry on Friday, April 1, and The Empire Music Hall in Belfast on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3.
