Michael Bublé tribute at Moe's

BELFAST based swing singer James Huish makes a return visit to perform as his idol Michael Bublé on Saturday night, October 2, to Moe's Grill Bar, Antrim.

The Michael Buble tribute show is less of a tribute and more of a re-enactment and direct replication of the man himself.

Not only does James sound like Michael Buble, he also has great stage presence and charisma equal to none.

James, who plays all over Ireland and the UK, was invited to perform at the Bungalow B aftershow party at the O2 Arena recently following a sell-out show by Bubl at the same venue.

“I’m a huge fan of Bubl’s and like so many of his fans, was talking about him on some forums, when I happened to mention that I sing swing as well,” James said.

He added: "I was brought backstage to say hello.

"Bubl likes to play table tennis when he has some down time and he was playing when they brought me backstage.

"We just chatted about his music and I told him it was great that I could make money by singing his songs.

"He replied ‘It is great, isn’t it. That’s how I make money too’.”

James Huish includes all the popular songs in a lively two-hour performance such as ‘Feeling Good’, ‘Lost’, ‘Call Me Irresponsible’, ‘Moondance’m plus many more, and he also incorporates songs from the greats including Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Leonard Cohen.

Joe Corey Promotions, agents for the show indicate that James is currently working on a new album entitled It’s About Time, which will include some well-known rock classics given a swing make-over.
