The Phantom of the Opera is nearly here

The show opens on Thursday, September 5 and runs to Sunday, September 8.

Show producer Kieran Corr speaking to the ‘Mail’ said: “We are delighted to be the first local drama group to perform this award winning show.

“We have a 40 strong cast who can’t wait to perform this show to the general public.

“We would like to thank the entire team at MADS! for making this possible.

“The group of volunteers have worked so hard in making sure the set is of a very high standard.

“The directors, choreographers, vocal coach etc have put in a lot of time and effort to make sure that we do the show justice.

“We would like to thank all the local business people who have supported us with sponsorship.”

To help with some of the costs with this production MADS! are hosting The Bjorn Identity Abba tribute group this Saturday night at St Anthony’s Centre.

Doors open at 9pm with dancing from 10.15pm. A late bar will be available and its strictly for over 18s. Admission is £7 payable at the door.
