Yvonne Smyth, General Manager at Galgorm Resort & Spa, added: “The award win marks a fantastic few months for the Resort & Spa. We’re in the final stages of a multimillion pound investment programme and will proudly display our GO award in Fratelli, our new Italian restaurant which opens at the Resort this weekend.”

The GO Awards are decided by public vote, with over 25,000 people casting their votes to crown winners across 14 categories, including ‘Hotel of the Year’.

The award win is the latest highlight for the Resort & Spa in what’s shaping up to be an extremely successful and exciting year for the Ballymena hotel. The Resort is in the final stages of completing a £2.5 million investment programme and is currently featuring on national TV thanks to head chef Chris Bell’s participation on Great British Menu, shown on BBC2 NI from Monday 30th April - Friday 4th May at 6.30pm.
