Awards double for Ciaran and Bernie

Ciaran and Bernie O’Neill topped the polls at the readers’ awards night organised by the Getting Married Northern Ireland magazine

Nominated by their customers both Ciaran and Bernie knew they were in the top five when they turned up at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast on Saturday night.

And they were delighted when Ciaran won Photographer of the Year and Bernie won the Best Bridal Shop category.

They have been among the awards in previous years with Bernie taking four firsts and three seconds and Ciaran three firsts and two seconds but this was the first occasion they took the top award at the same time.

“I was surprised but delighted,” said Ciaran. “There were other well known photographers in the running. I would like to thank the customers who nominated me and voted for me.”

Ciaran O’Neill Photography has been based in William Street, Lurgan, for ten years while before that Ciaran had a studio in Church Place.

Bernie’s award was for her Perfect Day business, also based in William Street. It has been open two and a half years and before that operated out of the same premises as Ciaran’s business.

“I’m delighted that our customers enjoyed their experience at Perfect Day,” said Bernie. “And I would like to thank them all for their support down the years.”
