Breakfast boost for businesses

The first of these free events will place on Tuesday, November 20, at 8am in the Armagh City Hotel with a further seminar scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 29th at 8am in the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown.

Businesses will hear how the STEM Project will aim to save them on average £2,850 per annum by helping them identify cost savings in their energy, waste and water. Financial assistance will be made available to those businesses interested in gaining a certified Environmental Management System (EMS) such as ISO 14001 or BS 8555.

Anne Mason, Programme Management Officer for the STEM Project, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for business to take advantage of a cost effective means of saving thousands of pounds while improving their environmental performance.

“The STEM Project acknowledges the significance networking plays in a small business and as such has placed great emphasis on identifying and facilitating an array of networking opportunities to promote economic growth and learning.

“At the Breakfast Seminar businesses will have the opportunity to network and gain valuable information from other support agencies on how they too can help their business.”
