Colin’s work to feature in exhibition

LISBURN artist Colin Corkey’s work will feature in the Tom Caldwell Gallery in Belfast’s Lisburn Road later this month as part of the ‘At Home’ series.

Colin’s exhibition, ‘Ground Work’, is the fifth in the ‘At Home’ series, and it will make use of items from the ground such as sand and clay.

Colin has been a regular exhibitor with the Tom Caldwell Gallery for fifteen years, where he has had four successful one person shows.

The exhibition will be launched with a private viewing on Tuesday May 15, and will continue until Sunday May 27 from 10am-5pm (Monday-Saturday) and 2pm-5pm on Sunday.

During the ‘At Home’ exhibitions, the artists have been working at their easels in the gallery. There will be recent and older works available to purchase.

Colin said he has used items such as sand, clay and metal as part of his ‘Ground Work’ exhibition, in order to incorporate items which come from the earth or ground and given them a new lease of life.
