Magnificent displays at Flower Show

St Patrick’s Parish Hall, Queen Street, Ballymoney was a blaze of colour as over 500 exhibits adorned the show benches at North Antrim Horticultural Association’s 84th Annual Show on Saturday. Despite the difficult season the exhibitors produce a magnificent display of flowers, fruit, vegetables, home industries, handcrafts and floral art.

John Patton, President welcomed a large turnout of visitors to the opening ceremony. He congratulated everyone on the colorful display and invited Dr John Johnston to officially open the Show.

Dr Johnston said he was no horticultural expert and congratulated the exhibitors on the high standard of their exhibits. He had a special word of encouragement to the young people on their wonderful display of handcrafts.
