Service will mark war outbreak
A special service to mark the outbreak of World War One will take place in St. Patrick’s Parish Church, (Broughshane) on Sunday, August 3 at 6pm. (This was the day before war began.)
“The Lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time”.
The preacher will be The Dean of Connor, The Very Rev. JFA Bond. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served in Parish Hall afterwards.
