Application made to reinforce seawall

An application has been made for permission to reinforce a sea wall at the Culmore Landfill Site.

Permission is sought to undertake habitat enhancement and creation, reinforce an existing sea wall and to construct surface water drainage outfalls at the Culmore landfill site at Coney Road.

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) "controls the deposit of materials from the high water mean spring tide mark out to twelve nautical miles" under the Food and Environment Protection Act (FEPA).
