Ballycastle and Moyle police incidents round-up

DIESEL STOLEN:

POLICE in Coleraine are appealing for information in relation to an incident which occurred some time between Monday, 5 November and Monday, 12 November when a quantity of red diesel was stolen from premises on the Ballykenver Road area of Armoy.

BATTERIES STOLEN:

Police are also investigating an incident which took place some time between the evening of Thursday, 15 November and the morning of Friday, 16 November when a number of used car batteries were stolen from the Moyarget Road area of Ballycastle.

Friday, 9 November and Sunday 11 November, a fence was damaged at a play park on the Turnarobert Park area, Armoy. The cost of the damage is estimated to be approximately £250.

EXCESS ALCOHOL:

On Friday, 16 November, a 48-year-old female was arrested in the Bushmills area on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol. She has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

THREAT TO KILL:

On Saturday, 18 November a 34-year-old male was arrested in the Ballycastle area. He has been charged with criminal damage and threats to kill. He is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday, 14 December. As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
