Ballymoney police round-up

Police are investigating a report that ten sheep were stolen on November 15th from the Mullan Road area of Rasharkin.

Police are asking local farmers to be vigilant about anyone acting suspiciously.

They are asked to note down registration numbers and to make sure that gates are secured.

DRUGS SEARCH:

A search has been carried out under the Misuse of Drugs Act in the Ballymoney area.

A small amount of suspect herbal cannabis was recovered and a male was arrested and charged to appear in court.

EXCESS ALCOHOL:

On November 13th, a male was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a vehicle with excess alcohol in the Armoy area.

He was bailed pending further enquiries.

STRANOCUM DRUGS:

On November 15th, premises in Stranocum were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A small amount of suspect cannabis was recovered and one male was arrested.
