Best sausage award for Ballymena butcher
The Ballymena-based company put in a sizzling performance to win Best Gourmet Beef Sausage in the Over 15 Employees Category and to finish as runner-up in the Traditional Beef Sausage Class.
The company also finished second in the Added Value Beef Product class for its Steak and Pepper pie and took third place in the Best Rib-eye Steak class in its Category.

Hide AdThe competition is held at CAFRE Loughry Campus in Cookstown and all judging is carried out as blind tastings.
Speaking at the event, European Angus Cattle Society Secretary, Harry McGaffin said: “This is an excellent result for K & G McAtamney.”
