Lord Mayor of Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Cllr Darryn Causby with Cllr Margaret Tinsley helped out at the Big Spring Clean with staff from Council, Asda and Starbucks.

Over lunchtime everyone cleaned the black paths. More than 11 bags of rubbish and recycled waste were collected in the area which had been cleaned by Council’s Waste Management less than two weeks ago.

Both Asda and Starbucks are signed up to the Council’s Adopt- a Street scheme.

The clean was organised by Environmental Health’s Community Engagement Officer.
