Bushmills man banned from driving

Norman William David Parke (23), of Heronshaw, was detected on June 1 this year driving a Honda Civic at Ballaghmore Road, Bushmills, without insurance and a licence offence.

A defence solicitor said it was his client’s third offence for no insurance.

He said Parke is a mixed martial arts expert who is number one in Ireland and he will be taking part in a top event coming up in Dublin soon.

The solicitor said his client was testing a car ahead of an MOT when stopped by police.
