Business as usual at Social Club

IT’S very much business as usual for Ballymena United Sports and Social Club, while it attempts to resolve its outstanding difficulties with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.

The Slemish Drive venue has lined up a super series of events throughout the month of July, which begin this Thursday with a car boot sale commencing at 5.30pm, prior to Ballymena United’s friendly match against Kilmarnock.

As always there is live music on Saturday nights, while Sunday nights will see the introduction of PlayStation 3 FIFA nights. Entry fee is £5, registration at 7pm and winner takes all.

On July 12, there is a Budweiser promotion, along with BBQ and disco in the evening.

The management committee has thanks those members who have already pledged donations and remind anyone else wishing to do so to return the allocated reply slip as soon as possible to allow further discussions with HMRC to take place.
