Communityrelations mystery tour

LONDONDERRY folk are invited to sign up for a local ‘Mystery Tour’ as part of its Community Relations week of events scheduled for later this month.

Do you think you know this city well? Think again! The tour, which takes place on Wednesday, May 25 from 9.15am to 4.30pm, will be of various ‘lesser known’ community and cultural locations in Londonderry.

According to Sue Divin, Community Relations Officer with Derry City Council, a similar event was booked out last year and has been included in this year’s extensive programme which includes over 60 free events, by popular demand.

“This free mystery tour will take you to local places you didn’t even know existed and confront you with cultures and traditions you don’t know much about!

“Anyone interested in taking part must book in advance – it is first come first served until the bus is full and has a limit of 4 seats per organisation. The event includes light lunch and the tour departs from and returns to Sainsbury’s carpark,” she said.
