Council extends sympathy to Black family

COLERAINE Council has extended its sympathy to the family of Mr David Black, who was murdered on his way to work at Maghaberry Prison last week.

Before last Tuesday night’s Leisure and Environment meeting, Chairperson, Councillor Mark Fielding, expressed his condolences on behalf of the council.

“The terrible events of last week brought us back to a time which we all thought we had left behind,” said Cllr Fielding.

“On behalf of council I would like to extend our sympathy to Mr Black’s family.”
