The creditors of the Londonderry-based charity, SEEDS, are scheduled to meet on May 8 to discuss a statement of the firm’s affairs and the appointment of a liquidator.

According to a notice published in the Belfast Gazette the meeting will take place at McCambridge Duffy LLP, 35 Templemore Business Park, Northland Road, Derry, BT48 0LD at 10.30am.

Its former director Eddie Kerr (61), of Ashfield Terrace, was recently given a suspended sentence following convictions for fraudulent applications for grant aid.

Now the charity is in the process of being liquidated.

“The resolutions at the creditors’ meeting may include a resolution specifying the terms on which the Liquidator is to be remunerated.

“The meeting may receive information about, or be asked to approve, the costs of preparing the statement of affairs and convening the meeting,” the notice states.
