Cars damaged on Windsor Avenue

POLICE in Lurgan are investigating criminal damage to at least 10 vehicles in the Windsor Avenue area during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Around 1:45am a young man was observed damaging the wing mirrors of the cars and punching the bodywork. A 54 year old owner of one of the vehicles tried to stop the young man and was punched to his head and eye.

A 16 year old male has been arrested following the incidents and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
