Drink driver due in court after Ballyclare collision

A woman is expected to appear in court next month following a collision in Ballyclare on February 23.

The incident was reported shortly before 3pm.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police have charged a woman (49) with offences including driving with excess alcohol in her breath following a report of a road traffic collision in the Rashee Road area of Ballyclare on February 23.

“She is expected to appear in Belfast Magistrates’ Court on March 24.

“As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.”
