Jewellery stolen during robbery
Jewellery has been stolen during a robbery in Ben Crom area of Lurgan on Friday night, said the PSNI.
Shortly after 9.15pm, it was reported that a bedroom in a house in the area had been ransacked. A woman was in the house at the time of the incident, but was not injured.
DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart is asking for more PSNI on the ground as a deterrent. She said: “The recent spate of burglaries is alarming. I was contacted on Friday evening about this most recent theft and I have warned as many people as possible to take precautions and secure their property.”
