A 44-year-old man, arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Liam Christie in Antrim last October, returned for interview today (Tuesday).

He has now been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The man was arrested in the Antrim area on October 26, 2022 and was subsequently released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.

Mr Christie, a father-of-three, was shot at his residence in the Craighill area on October 20 last.
