Uninsured and untaxed vehicle seized in Newtownabbey

A car which was found to be uninsured, untaxed and without an MOT, was seized after being stopped by police officers in Newtownabbey.

Detailing the operation on Facebook today (Thursday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Glengormley Neighbourhood Policing Team out on patrol stopped this vehicle that was sighted travelling along the Doagh Road.

“Checks with the Motor Insurance Bureau showed the vehicle was uninsured as the driver had failed to return documents to them as requested.

“The vehicle was also untaxed and had no MOT and was subsequently seized.”
