Woman arrested on fraud charge

A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicious of fraud following a report of cold callers operating in Portadown.

A police spokesman said: “On Sunday 3rd January we had a report of cold callers in the Kernan Hill Manor of Portadown.

“On Tuesday 5th January Police arrested a 36 year old female for the offence of fraud by false representation.

“Enquiries are ongoing at this time.”
