Police have launched an appeal for information after a young male was assaulted at the V36 in Newtownabbey last night (Monday).

Urging anyone with information to contact officers, a PSNI spokesperson said: “A young male has sustained minor injuries close to the V36 in Newtownabbey as a result of an assault which occurred at around 10pm on January 24.

“Anyone with information regarding the incident should make contact with police, quoting reference number 1870 24/1/22.”
