Dalriada thankyou to local businesses

On Wednesday 9th November Barbara Hume from the organisation SENTINUS, a provider of Business Education in Northern Ireland, came to Dalriada to hold a Business Insight Conference for all Year 10 pupils.

During the conference, pupils worked in groups with the help and advice of local Business people to look at various aspects of business, including marketing, advertising, investment, and production.

They had to create a product and sell it by the end of the day to the ‘buyers’. Lynda-Jayne Parkhill Head of Business Studies at Dalriada would like to thank Sentinus for their ongoing work with the school, but most especially a huge thank you from Dalriada School to the local business people who so generously gave up their time to help make the day a success.
