Deaths in the community

The death took place on May 13 of William Robert (Billy) Richardson, Russell Drive, Lurgan.

He was the son of the late William and Esther and brother of Doreen and the late Joy and Lily.

His funeral service was in Malcomson’s Funeral Home on Thursday followed by private cremation.

Maurice Hall

The death took place on May 13, suddenly at his home, of Maurice Hall, Clonmeen, Craigavon.

He was the husband of Dolores and brother of Eleanor and the late Alvin, Derek, Cecil and Reggie.

His funeral was on Friday to Lurgan Cemetery.

David Crangle

The death took place, peacefully at home, on May 12 of David Crangle, Lismara, Craigavon.

He was the husband of Magdalene and father of Colin, Neal and Kathy.

His funeral was on Thursday to St Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Joe McCann

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Hospital of Joe McCann, Beech Court, Lurgan.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Sheila and brother of Mary, Kathleen, Jean, Gerald, Brendan, Kevin and Desmond and the late Jimmy and Patricia.

His funeral was on Friday to St Paul’s Church followed by intement at St Colman’s Cemetery.

Billy McCaughley

The death took place on May 18 of William (Billy) McCaughley, Ashwood, Lurgan.

He was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth McCaughley and brother of Maureen, Eileen, Carmel, Roseleen and the late Elizabeth.

His funeral was to St Paul’s Church followed by burial in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Kathleen menary

The death took place on May 18, peacefully at Rosemount Nursing Home, of Kathleen (Kay) Menary, Manor Drive and Brown Street, Lurgan.

She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Menary and sister of Rosie Cassidy.

Her funeral was to St Paul’s Church, and was followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.
