Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully at home on February 25 of Maurice (Barney) Wilkinson of Pinebank, Craigavon.

He was the partner of Jane and friend of James, Irenee, Des and Derm.

He was brother of Henry, Elizabeth and the late Norman.

His funeral was on Friday from his home to Lurgan Cemetery.

Kevin McGeown

The death took place peacefully on February 26 peacefully at Craigavon Hospital of Kevin McGeown of Derrytrasna Park.

He was the husband of Elizabeth, father of Kieran, Adrian and Gregory and brother of Teresa and the late Sr Sebastian, John and Maryanna.

His funeral was from his son Adrian’s home to St Mary’s Church, Derrytrasna following by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Henry Wilkinson

The death took place peacefully on February 27 at Craigavon Area Hospital of Henry Wilkinson, late of The Willows, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Joy and father of Pauline, Norman and Donna.

His funeral was in Hill Street Presbyterian Church on Sunday followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Angela McConville

The death took place on February 28 of Angela McConville of Ardmore Road.

She was the aunt of Eilish, Michelle, Donna, Karen and Edel.

Her funeral was on Tuesday to St Mary’s Church, Derrytrasna followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Desmond Chapman

The death took place on March 3, suddenly at hospital of Desmond Chapman of Thornhill Park, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Angela, father of Gillian and Paul and grandfather of Matthew.

His funeral is on Thursday from his home at 2pm (service at 1.30pm) to Lurgan Cemetery.
