Deaths in the local community

The death took place on October 10, peacefully at home, of Laurence Rogers of 10 Brankinstown Road, Aghalee.

He was the husband of Carmel and father of Dwayne, Alicia, Niall, Aimee and Kyle and granda of Christopher, Ellie-May, Jessica, Maisie and Cara.

His funeral was on Wednesday from his late residence to St Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon for Requiem Mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Edward Morrow

The death took place on October 11 of Edward (Eddie) Morrow of 506 Clonmeen.

He was the husband of Sinead and father of Michael.

His funeral was on Friday to St Anthony’s Church followed by interment at St John’s Cemetery, Drumcree.

Peter McConville

The death took place on October 12, surrounded by his family, of Peter McConville of 145 Lurgan Tarry.

He was the husband of Mary and father of Martin, Siobhan, Annemarie, Malachy, Damian, Sean and Seamus.

His funeral was on Saturday to St Peter’s Temporary Church followed by burial in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Daphne Norma May Reid

The death took place peacefully at Lisnisky Care Home of Daphne Norma May Reid of 20a Old Church Lane, Aghalee on October 15.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth and mother of Florence, Lynda, Trevor, David and Donna.

Funeral arrangements were not made public.

Eileen Rae

The death took place on October 15, suddenly at home, of Eileen Rae of 908 Lower Enniskeen, Craigavon.

She was the wife of Ronnie and mother of Ronnie, Elsie, Lisa, Angela, Ann, Eileen and Mark.

Her funeral is on Thursday at 12noon from her late residence to Roselawn Crematorium for a service at 2pm.

Andrew Close

The death took place on October 15, peacefully at Aughnacloy House, of Andrew Close of 317 Drumbeg North.

He was the husband of Margaret and father of Mary, Gerard, Brenda, Andrew and Margaret.

His funeral was on Monday from his late residence to St Anthony’s Church followed by interment in St John’s Cemetery, Lylo.

Deirdre Goodfellow

The death took place peacefully at home on October 15 of Deirdre Goodfellow of 35 Drumlin Drive.

She was the wife of the late Teddy and mother of JoAnn, Roderick, Alison, Eamonn, Danielle, Louise, Keith and Nathan and sister of Anne Jackson, Geraldine Kearns and Donal.

Her funeral was on Tuesday to St Paul’s Church, followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Harold Hayes

The death took place peacefully at hospital of Harold Hayes of 2 Broomhill Grove, Lurgan on October 17.

He was the husband of Christina and father of Glynda, Barbara and Duane.

His funeral service was on Tuesday in Malcomson’s Funeral Home followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.
