Dog finds new home in Sweden after welfare case
A Staffordshire bull terrier has found a new home in Sweden following a recent animal welfare case taken by Mid and East Antrim Council.
‘Ghostie’ was rehomed in May 2014 after being seized by the local authority.
It followed an investigation by MEA’s Animal Welfare officers in April 2013.

A post on the Facebook page of the group ‘Northern Ireland says no to animal cruelty’ read: “[Ghostie] had to spend over a year in kennels before she could be released for rehoming.”
For a long time, she hid food under her bed, the post continued.
“[She] has lived with her new owner now for almost two years.”
