Doherty inquest: Hearing in Belfast
A preliminary hearing in the inquest of Kieran Doherty, murdered by the Real IRA in Londonderry in February 2010, will take place in Belfast tomorrow, Thursday.
The body of the former Republican prisoner was found at Braehead Road on the outskirts of the city. He had been stripped and bound and there were two bullet wounds to his head.
Mr Doherty had claimed MI5 had tried to recruit him and, a few days after his murder the Real IRA said he was a member and claimed responsibility for the murder.
