Drugs advice meeting to be held

Residents are being urged to attend a drugs information event in a local community centre tomorrow.

Jamie Burns' family will be presenting at the drugs information event.

The ‘1 Pill Will Kill’ event will be staged in Woodburn Community Centre at 7:30pm on Thursday, November 2.

Parents and teenagers are invited to hear how drugs have impacted on the lives of family members following the death of Belfast man, Jamie Burns.

Since his drug-related death last year, Jamie’s parents William and Leslie have been sharing their story to local communities in the hope that it will deter other people from experimenting with drugs.

The community centre is located at 68 Woodburn Road, Carrickfergus.
