Drumsurn: Security operation continues

A number of families evacuated as part of the operation were allowed to return to their homes last night.

Chief Inspector Mark McClarence continues to ask people in the area to remain vigilant.

“The security operation in the rural Drumsurn area near Dungiven is continuing. Part of the Legavallon Road has been closed to traffic as a result. Diversions are in place. If you see any suspicious objects, please do not touch them. Inform police immediately by dialling 999,” he said.
