Drunk man fined for police assaults
Ashley Simon Gibson (30), Derryhale Road, Portadown, was also fined £100 on each of two assaults on police and £75 for resisting police.
The court heard that at 11.10pm police attended a disturbance where the defendant was verbally abusive, shouting and swearing.

Hide AdHe approached police with a clenched fist and kicked out at another officer. He was taken to the ground and handcuffed.
In the rear of the police vehicle he kicked at the window several times.
A barrister representing Gibson said he was drunk and remembered very little about what happened.
He pointed out that his client had managed to keep his nose clean for eight years. He would apologise to the constables for his behaviour.
