Ebrington event to showcase new deprivation measure next month

A NEW report flagging the majority of the most deprived areas in Northern Ireland as situated in Londonderry and Belfast with notable pockets in Strabane will be showcased at Ebrington next month.

The Northern Ireland Multiple Deprivation Measure 2010 was published by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) in May 2010 and supersedes a previous 2005 measure.

It identifies small area concentrations of multiple deprivation across Northern Ireland and updates and replaces the NIMDM 2005 as the official measure of deprivation in Northern Ireland.
