Elderly lady injured in collision

Police are investigating after an elderly lady was injured following a road traffic collision in Ballymena.

The collision occurred at Gilmore Street at around 2pm on Friday, December 4.

Constable Chris Glasgow said: “A vehicle struck an elderly lady and she was taken to hospital by ambulance.

“She suffered head injuries but these are not thought to be life threatening.

“We are working to establish the circumstances of the collision. If you were in the area at the time and saw what happened, please let us know.
