Family raise over £5k in memory of Eileen

The family of a Ballymoney woman have undertaken a fantastic charity challenge in her memory to boost the coffers of the Chest, Heart and Stroke Association.

70 members of the McAlister clan climbed Knocklayde in memory of the late Eileen McAlister from Vow Road. The youngest member to complete the climb was Eileen’s great grandson, one-year-old Liam McAlister.

The family thank everyone who donated so generously and they were overwhelmed by the final count of £5,078.21. Special thanks to Francis and Jojo McToal who lead the group and to St. Patricks & St. Brigid’s Church for the use of the Hall afterwards.
