Food for thought
BALLYMONEY Council has contributed towards the cost of a food sector support programme.
A Council report stated: ‘Coleraine Borough Council (the lead Council) on this cluster regional programme, has secured funding of £144,168 from Invest NI/EU, under the competitiveness programme.
‘Council had committed £5,000 to the programme over two financial years at application stage. An expression of interest has been lodged through our business survey.

Hide Ad‘There are four elements to the programme: SME to multinational, Retail to Manufacturing; Branding; Salsa Accreditation.’
It was proposed by Alderman Frank Campbell (DUP) seconded by Councillor Jason Atkinson (DUP) and agreed that a Council committee confirm funding of £5,000 towards this project in the years 2012/13 and 2013/14.
