Garvagh Cancer Research parade

GARVAGH Cancer Research Committee will be holding its annual band parade and collection on Saturday, July 21st at 8pm.

All bands are to assemble at the Coleraine Road at 7.45pm around Rectory Park.

The parade will be lead by the William King Memorial Band from Londonderry.

Chairperson Stuart Black said: “To all the bands and to you the general public, without your support, this fundraising event could never take place.

“So therefore I would ask you and your friends to come along and do your part in supporting your local fundraising committee in making this another successful event.

“We the collectors, would ask the traffic to be on the alert that day if passing through the town of Garvagh.

“Finally, collection will take place all day. To anyone who would like to come along, boxes will be available at British Legion Hall from 8am and you will be made very welcome.”
