Grant for Gortalowry Park
GORTALOWRY Park Residents Association have been successful in receiving a grant for £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund through Awards for All.
The association intend to take on an environmental scheme in various areas of the estate; creating new flower beds, opening up new ones, and planting trees and shrubs. They also are pulling plants at the interface between Gortalowry Park and Killymoon Street to enhance the new turning point.
As well as all this they will do further work on the new enclosed play area. The committee said they were excited about this new venture and are sure the residents will be happy with the outcome.
