Mark Johnston: Jack I can assure you that these ladies where not witches.

Jonathan Brown: You sure mark lol me thinks Jack watches too much tv lol.

Conor Sheridan: Why do they need a plaque and that to commemorate woman who were wrongly or rightfully accused of witchcraft in the first place....... i don’t understand, it’s a waste of public money and time, once again Larne is the laughing stock of the north.

Ian Ringland: Just right too...how can we be sure these women weren’t real witches? Very 21st century thinking by one of our elected representatives. Lets hope this doesn’t get picked up by the Daily Mail or some other media outlet...it could put “I love Larne” in the shade. If they had any sense they’d build a witch house with coach parking for the tourists.

Jilly St John: There’s homage to Jesus everywhere how can we be sure he was god... Same thing for many. It’s just a plaque if not for anything more than historical point of reference as the last of the trials. I laugh about these satan worshippers... They have to believe in God for that and so I doubt they are going to worship “pagans”. Know what’s real madness? That religion even comes into politics.

Garry James Kernohan: Jack I wonder what percentage of larne constitutes are atheist. .... anti god yes.... should we now deny them a vote during elections. The council are not in place to decide which moon we should bark at or who we call god. For the record I don’t think tax payers money should be spent on the plaque but not foe religious reasons of any kind.
