Italian media sample the Causeway Coast

A group of influential journalists from Italy recently travelled to Northern Ireland on the new Jet2 Rome to Belfast flight which began operations in early April 2015.

The high profile group representing top print, on-line and broadcast media, were keen to experience the new service for themselves and explore

more of what Northern Ireland has to offer.

The trip was facilitated by Tourism NI in association with Tourism Ireland and Jet2.com to help drive demand for the flight, promote new ease of access and showcase Northern Ireland to potential Italian visitors.

Tourism NI designed their itinerary which included visits to Titanic Quarter, St George’s Market and the Linen Hall Library. They also travelled along the Causeway Coastal Route, stopping off at various Game of Thrones film locations and spent time at the Giant’s Causeway and Bushmills Distillery.
